Well. What to say. A year has passed and so did the time as well. I don't know what to really say. Productivity on my projects has been slow since I have been solidifying the history. I've ran out of quality paper to draw on and no one wants to really get me a new sketch book for a present. I know that’s an excuse but its working for me. I had lost my first real sketch book but was found 6 months later. Arizia is over 2 years old now, here’s Christmas:

So back to projects, I have concluded and currently building the Dragonball Universe again. The Bodukai Challenge would be great practice for me on my first real webcomic as well as a flagship to gain popularity for the other comic I want to do. Why start off and develop for years, without anyone knowing who you are and hope that the right person with the right internet connections spread the word. With my doing a dragonball based comic, I then guarantee to receive thousands of more "random" hits from just fans looking up dragonball material. Those fans my like what I am doing and might get interested in my other projects. My schedule is to have the first 10 comic pages down by the end of March and so far I've kept my schedule this year. Well we'll see and if the scheduling is followed, then this will be updated more and more.

Well a new year and goals

This year I need to get more on top. This will involve a project or two. Last year ended nicely since I managed to get the animation done for that contest @ mapleshorts. The quality and amount I got done was up to par for what I was planning. It was 40% of the final result but enough. The flash animation is posted here if you like to see it.

One project I will be looking into more closely would be my how to draw anime DVD. Since I may be getting a DVD burner for my B-day and there is free software on the net, I may be able to produce this at minimal cost. Well we'll see when time goes by.

The big Week

Well what big week ahead. First in about 7 hours my daughter will be 1 year old. Happy Birthday Arizia!!

So again that is just a part of it under way, not to say the huge 100person party on Aug 7th. When preparing for that we are also moving to our first house and that will take place in 2 days. That will proceed with the unpacking and winter preparations, not to mention all the new bills like water and gas. The best about our move is that I finally get an office. A place dedicated to ideas and solitude, No T.V in the background and all inspiration around me. I will then sit down and start categorizing my stories and concepts into solidified material. I have already done rough drafts recently in my spare time and can't believe some of the details I've haven't thought about. For example I have created and supported the concept and characters for Class Act, even got the story based from Mitsuke's past but never considered the timeline or even why or how the characters became who they are. I decided why can't Tasha and Mel be sisters. It works. The rough draft is completed and each character bio has been created. I just have to perfect it and all. Once that is done, I will do the same for each of all my characters then proceed onto timelines. Finally I will produce the final drafts of each and file it. Well can't take too much time must run anyways.

updating a website can be time consuming or just a hassle to get around to it. By having the blog and the ability to do a simple maniplulations as well as options of attachments like a tag board, this will allow a more simple interaction with users and feedback. feedback = motivation. So this is the first blog as well as a test.
